12 May C3 Featured in Digital Gov Hub Publication at Georgetown University

I2D2 and our partners at the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) were featured in Georgetown University Digital Gov Hub publication for our work on  Child Care Connect (C3): the child care search tool and dashboards that makes real-time child care data accessible to families, providers, and policymakers.

C3 pulls data from existing systems and runs on I2D2’s secure infrastructure. Families can now search for care along their commute, view up-to-date vacancies, and see supply and demand trends by region. Providers can share openings and increase visibility in their communities.

This project shows how integrated data can power smarter decisions and stronger services. Together, I2D2 and HHS are proving that states can build modern, flexible tools using systems they already have. Read the full article to learn more about C3’s impact.
