May is Mental Health Awareness month. I2D2 has a history of collaborating with state partners to address circumstances that impact mental health needs for children and families. In 2022, we releasedThe 2022 ECI Family Survey Report which found that low income families had less awareness of how and where to find services they need, along difficulty with access and affordability. State partners responded, and thanks to these voices from Iowa families, the 2023-2026 ECI Strategic Plan included how to best address mental health supports.
