16 Jan Iowa Child Care Workforce Study Brief 4: Retention

In partnership with IA AEYC, we are proud to release the final brief from the 2023 Iowa’s Child Care Workforce Study. Retention in the early care and education field was a major portion of our findings in the report. Turnover is a very costly issue in the field, and is the result of a cycle of low pay, staffing shortages, and fewer child care slots.
